Appointments

We are moving to a hybrid system using; telephone consultations / Attend Anywhere Video Consultations / Face to Face consultations.

Consultation is by appointment only, both morning and evening. We also provide telephone consultations again available morning and evening. If you have several problems which are likely to be time consuming, please indicate this to the receptionist at the time of booking the appointment.

You can make an appointment by telephone or by calling in to the surgery during opening hours. You can book appointments online. Please register at reception before accessing this service.  If you feel your condition is very serious or very urgent, please make it clear to the receptionist.

Please note occasionally we may need to change the time of the evening surgery at short notice.

Book your Appointment Online

Patient Access is available to ALL our registered patients.  Once registered, you can book your appointment(s) online.

First you must register to use the service and then you can sign in to book your appointment(s). Please contact reception for information to register.

Extended Hours

There are are four appointments available per week after 18:00 for those patients who cannot attend the normal surgery times.

Practice nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Interpreter

If you require an interpreter, this can be arranged with advance notice, by the receptionist.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible to allow us to offer the appointment slot to someone else.

Missed appointments

If you miss 3 appointments without notifying reception in advance that you are unable to attend, we will write to you and ask you to register elsewhere. The demand for appointments is high and the surgery cannot cope with repeated wasted appointments.

Chaperone for Medical Examination

If you require a chaperone for an intimate medical examination, whether you are male or female and whether you are the same or opposite sex to the doctor or nurse, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member with you to your appointment. Alternatively, we are happy to provide a chaperone, but would ask that you please inform the receptionist in advance.
